Got it done last friday at Aloha Monkey Tattoos in Burnsville. Marx drew it up and put it on me.
At the tail of the turtle is a Claddagh ring, above that is the Celtic Tree of Life with some Celtic Knots with a lil bit of some Celtic Spirals.
the Claddagh ring represents a variety of things, mainly love, friendship, and loyalty.
the Celtic Tree of Life represents wisdom, life, the spirit. The tree symbolized the axis mundi (center of the universe)
Celtic Knots represent eternity (eternity of life, nature, and love)
No one really knows what Celtic Spirals represent. At least no one i know of.
that tat is really freakin sweet. when you step back you can also make out a skull out of the shell. with the fingers of the claddagh being the teeth and the arches on the crow being the nasal cavities. you really picked out something awesome...XD
Dude that's fucking awesome!!
I want another tattoo hehe
